Bath Royal is calling in the fossil hunters this Saturday 11 September (10am to 4pm) as part of Bath’s contribution to Heritage Open Days. This year’s theme is Edible England and we have a number of tasty events for you to join in with! And some very sharp teeth on display!
Our Jurassic Ark exhibition will be open 10am to 4pm, and visiting it you will get the chance to find our what did dinosaurs eat for their dinner – find out all about carnivores, herbivores and more! Children will be given some free fun and colouring sheets and will get the chance to be Paleobiological (sea monsters to normal kids!) investigators for the afternoon.
Not only that, you will get to meet our pet Steneosaurus and have the chance to look inside an Ichthyosaur’s skull!
Anyone completing their funsheet will get a sticker, and there is even the chance to make your mum and dad go on a walk with our new Digital Smartphone App. (Unlike a normal walk you get to take photographs and control the route on mum and dad’s behalf!)
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, and anyone who comes dressed as a dinosaur gets our undying respect.
