**Video** Labour Mobility in Transnational Europe

Between depletion, mitigation and citizenship entitlements harm

17 August 2020

This talk will look at the current problems of transnational labour migration in an uneven and combined Europe. It explores how the gendered processes of production and ‘social reproduction’, and the crises they come up against, have necessitated east-west migration, and highlight the problems this create for the migrants themselves, even as certain opportunities are drawn from migration by states, businesses and, temporarily, migrants themselves
