Inspired by trying to recreate photosynthesis in the laboratory, Dr Rudd has research experience that includes the conversion of carbon dioxide into fuels. Her talk will commence with an overview of her educational work on the climate emergency, then describe work with a steel manufacturer on capturing carbon dioxide and using catalysts to convert it into fuels that potentially help to move towards a neutral balance of emissions.
Visitors welcome £5 • Members/Students £2
