Description:

Coprolites are fossilised poo, they come in many shapes and sizes and can sometimes tell you by their contents what the animal that produced it had been eating. However it can be hard to determine which animal produced which poo. Coprology (the study of fossil poo) was a popular subject for geologists in the 19th century.
