Wednesday 11 October – Wednesday 8 November 10.00 am – 12.30 pm. Sessions to comprise 2 lectures every successive Wednesday morning for 5 weeks. Professor Mowl will give the first lecture each morning, followed by other scholars in the field. They will focus on architectural aspects of Bath and on country houses and their estates throughout England. Topics will include Women Gardeners, Thomas Robins the Limner of Bath, Gardens and Landscapes in Jane Austen’s Novels, Palladian Bridges, Capability Brown & Humphry Repton, Elizabethan Gardens, John Wood and the Creation of Georgian Bath Cost, to include coffee/tea – £125 for 5 sessions or £30 each, payable in advance Numbers limited – for further information see www.timothymowl.
