The evolving arts and crafts gardens of the early twentieth century were treated as a unified design, using local materials and motifs drawn from nature to adorn both houses and gardens. In this fully illustrated talk, Marion will explore how a band of idealistic craftsmen, including the Barnsley brothers and their friends changed the landscape of the Cotswolds, creating some well-known and a number of lesser-known gardens.
