On Saturday 7 December 2024, Bath Preservation Trust (BPT) reaches its ninetieth birthday!
The charity has always focused on the next greatest threat to Bath, which over 90 years has included demolition, tunnel building, dereliction and inappropriate development. This work continues as BPT campaigns for design excellence, often lacking in new buildings, and positive adaptation to climate change. BPT operates four museums in Bath exploring many of the narratives of the city’s heritage and which welcome tens of thousands of people every year.
