What will the world look like in 2050? Hot on the heels of the eight-part series of talks by the same name last year, Andreas Wasmuht summarises the key social, political, economic, technological and ecological trends we can expect over the coming decades. Exploring how the world will progress, Andreas draws on several globally respected sources which map the most important future trends.

Andreas Wasmuht was an international business consultant, working with leading blue-chip companies in finance, telecoms, retail, energy, transports and entertainment. He is a director at BRLSI and convenor for Philosophy and World Affairs.

Please note that this final event in our free Heritage Open Days lunchtime series takes place from 1pm – 1.30pm. All other free lunchtime events this week are from 1.15pm – 1.45pm.
